Vintage Endicott Clay Products Company Advertising Brick – Nebraska Architectural Sample.
Original vintage Endicott Clay Products Company marked clay brick featuring the company name prominently impressed into the face.
Endicott Clay Products Company was established in Nebraska in 1920 and became known for architectural face brick, paving brick and other clay building products.
This unusual example measures approximately 7 5/8" long × 3 5/8" high × 1 1/4" thick. The relatively thin construction combined with the prominent ENDICOTT CLAY PRODUCTS COMPANY identification suggests that it may have been produced as an architectural sales sample, display piece or promotional example. Its exact original purpose and date have not been verified.
An interesting piece of American industrial and building-material history with appeal to collectors of vintage bricks, architectural artifacts, masonry memorabilia, trade advertising, Nebraska history and industrial collectibles.
Condition: Vintage used condition with surface wear, scratches, discoloration, and small chips and losses along the edges and corners. The impressed company lettering remains strong and clearly readable. Please review photographs carefully as they are part of the condition description.
