An impressive vintage wooden foundry pattern with a rounded body, broad flanges, and projecting core prints. Likely a valve-body pattern section, its flat back suggests it formed one half of a larger assembly.
The brown finish, visible wood grain, construction joints, and handwritten workshop markings give this practical manufacturing artifact strong display appeal.
Approximately 18¼" long × 10¼" wide × 4½" deep. Maker, wood species, and exact age are unknown.
Condition: Workshop and storage wear throughout, including scratches, dents, small chips, finish loss, discoloration, and residue. Visible joint lines and narrow splits/checks. Holes and markings remain on the reverse.
One pattern section included, as photographed. Offered as an industrial collectible and decorative object; completeness for casting use has not been established.
Carefully packed U.S. shipping is included.
