Vintage 1950s lacquered paper mache trinket/keepsake box in red with floral bouquet decoration on the lid and floral borders on the sides. Underside stamped Made in Japan (also “Patent”). A classic mid-century vanity/dresser piece—useful for jewelry, sewing notions, letters, or small keepsakes.
