Colorful mid-century tin litho chick-in-egg toy by Haji of Japan. Yellow egg with hens and chicks graphics opens to reveal a matching tin chick. Marked “HAJI – Made in Japan.” Wind-up mechanism is not working and the key is missing, so this piece is offered as a display-only toy or for parts/repair. Displays beautifully in an Easter, spring, or tin toy collection.
