Vintage five-light brass flexible-arm lighting assembly, believed to date from approximately the 1960s–1970s.
This unusual lighting component features five independently adjustable flexible gooseneck arms, each terminating in a brass socket cup with screw-type lamp socket. The ribbed metal arms have an aged brass finish and can be bent and positioned individually, making the assembly particularly interesting for restoration or a custom lighting project.
All five metal arms remain solid, intact and flexible with no breaks observed.
The arms attach to a circular metal mounting plate measuring approximately 4" across. Overall dimensions vary depending upon how the flexible arms are positioned; the photographs show the assembly approximately 10–11" high in its current configuration.
This is being offered strictly as vintage architectural/lighting salvage for restoration, parts or repurposing.
The original electrical wiring is deteriorated, cut and exposed and must be completely replaced before use. The fixture has not been electrically tested and is not represented as safe or functional.
The brass shows attractive natural aging with oxidation, tarnish, scratches, spotting and general surface wear from previous installation and decades of use. The mounting plate has substantial surface rust.
