Rare Set of 4 Antique Solid Brass Dragon 3-Arm Wall Coat Hooks – Gothic Figural Hardware.
 
Exceptional matched set of four antique solid brass wall-mounted coat hooks, each elaborately formed with three projecting dragon-head hooks surrounded by scrolling openwork decoration.
These are substantial pieces of decorative architectural hardware rather than ordinary utilitarian coat hooks. Each fixture incorporates three long, sculptural arms terminating in highly detailed open-mouthed dragon heads, with textured scales, curled horns, expressive faces and additional ornamental scrollwork throughout the framework.
The design has a distinctly Gothic Revival / Victorian fantasy character, combining functional wall hardware with highly sculptural metalwork. The aged brass surfaces retain a naturally developed dark brown patina with areas of warmer brass coloration visible throughout.
Most importantly, this offering is for a matched set of four. Individual antique figural hooks survive with some frequency, but assembling four matching examples of such an elaborate dragon design is considerably more difficult and makes the group particularly well suited for an architectural restoration, historic interior, library, entry hall, dressing room or distinctive commercial installation.
Each fixture provides three dragon-form hanging arms, giving the complete set a total of 12 decorative hooks.

Condition
The set is in very good antique condition overall, showing expected surface oxidation, darkening, patina, minor scratches and age-related wear.
One of the four fixtures has an old welded repair. The repair is visible upon close examination and should be considered part of the item's condition and history.
The remaining pieces appear structurally sound based upon visual inspection. No attempt has been made to polish the brass, preserving the aged surface and patina.
