This is a first edition, second state of Taps at Reveille, the last collection of short stories published during Fitzgerald’s lifetime. The book features eighteen stories, including classics such as Babylon Revisited, The Last of the Belles, and the Basil Duke Lee stories.

The original dust jacket is present, featuring the striking illustrated design by Doris Spiegel in red, black, and beige. The dust jacket shows edge wear, chipping, and some loss, particularly along the spine and edges. The $2.50 price is intact on the front flap.
