An early Elvis Presley single pairing “Love Me Tender” with “Anyway You Want Me (That’s How I Will Be),” released by RCA Victor in 1956.
This 10-inch, 78 RPM record bears catalog number 20-6643 and RCA’s familiar black Nipper labels. The film credit beneath “Love Me Tender” connects the recording to Elvis’s debut motion picture.
Preserved in a sleeve as part of a larger 78 RPM collection, the record has been play tested and plays with light background crackling. No major scratches are noted, though light surface marks and handling wear are present.
Both labels are readable, with wear and paper loss around the spindle hole, most noticeable on the “Love Me Tender” side. Close-up photographs show these details.
A collectible recording from Elvis’s breakthrough year, suitable for an early rock-and-roll collection or playback on equipment fitted for 78 RPM records.
