Vintage American Airlines postcards from the Flagship Fleet era (late 1930s–early 1940s). Three cards:

  • Stewardess at aircraft door (“Flagship Washington” visible)

  • Two pilots with stewardess walking on the ramp (aircraft appears to be a Douglas DC-3)

  • This Is My Trip on American Airlinesroute-map souvenir card with fill-in boxes for time made.

All three have divided backs with “In Flight with the Flagship Fleet of American Airlines, Inc.” imprint and 1¢ domestic / 2¢ foreign postcard rate boxes—consistent with pre-1952 production. Unused (no writing or postmarks).

Size: standard 3.5 × 5.5 in each.
Publisher/Imprint: American Airlines, Inc. (unattributed photo/litho).
Quantity: Set of 3 cards.

Visual Condition Report

  • Fronts: crisp sepia/black-and-white images; light toning; tiny corner bumps to a couple cards; one with a minute tip rub—no creases seen.

  • Backs: clean, divided; clear printed captions; unused.

Great subject matter for aviation, Art Deco travel, and airline ephemera collections; perfect for framing as a trio.
