Original 1966 U.S. mono first issue of Bob Dylan – Blonde on Blonde, Columbia Records C2L 41, complete two-record gatefold set.
This is the desirable early version with the original nine-photo interior gatefold, including the photograph of Italian actress Claudia Cardinale. Cardinale's photograph was removed from subsequent versions of the jacket, making this original interior artwork an important identifying feature of the earliest issue.

CONDITION
Vinyl: Both records are exceptionally clean for their age with excellent gloss and no scratches observed. Both records have been play tested and play very well.
Labels: Original red Columbia labels remain clean overall. Please note that a previous owner wrote a name in ink on at least one label, clearly shown in the photographs.
Gatefold Jacket: The original jacket shows substantial age and storage wear, including widespread surface rubbing/scuffing, edge and corner wear, and significant wear along the center gatefold fold. Please examine the detailed photographs carefully.
Most importantly, the original interior retains the nine-picture layout including Claudia Cardinale, identifying this as the early withdrawn-cover configuration.
