Handsome two-leaf folding screen in classic Arts & Crafts / Mission style. Solid hardwood frame with visible joinery and brass hinges. Each leaf has a square lattice filled with 20 translucent inserts (40 total) that glow beautifully when backlit. The inserts appear to be capiz shell (often mistaken for mica) set into the grid—great as a small fireplace guard, tabletop altar screen, photo prop, or as repurposed cabinet doors/light diffuser.
