Original antique condition with an early repair to the outer binding.
The original fold-out map has been removed from the front of the book and is not included. The book is incomplete as issued because of this missing map.
The covers show rubbing and general wear, with noticeable wear and material loss at the spine ends and corners. The interior exhibits age toning, scattered spotting, and occasional marks.
A J. Atkins Noyes, Cambridge, Massachusetts, stamp and handwritten notations appear in the front matter.
